| Summary | 0002781: API should facilitate killing of a peer with SIGKILL. | ||||
| Description | The present API sends a SIGTERM to the ARM service of a peer while killing it. However, due to misbehaving processes, one of the peer's service may continue running and any call to the API's peer_wait() function will block as the peer's ARM service is not terminated until all of the peer's service are terminated. Such behaviour is quite common in testcases and also in testbed runs (see parent bug). To address this issue, the API should facilitate hard-killing a peer though SIGKILL. | ||||
