| Description | The current SPA (even the top-level menu) shows almost no translations in German (or French). That's very bad for a launch in Switzerland, especially given that merchants are our first customers and this is the most user-facing component we have for merchants. | ||||

@grothoff - I need someone to help me setup the merchant SPA as I did not manage to get in running on my device. Several attempts failed. Please decide who will assist me and to what deadline. The Swiss sandbox report has priority, though. |

We are at 30 percent of the German strings translated (210 of 698 strings). 147 strings have already suggestions (to be reviewed), 39 strings are marked for edit (t.i. to be discussed). Look at https://weblate.taler.net/projects/gnu-taler/merchant-backoffice/de/ for an overview. |

We are now at 46 percent of the German strings translated (326 of 698 strings). |

We are now at 61 percent of the German strings translated (429 of 698 strings) and a plurality of erroneous strings in several other languages was rectified. Also, we already have a lengthy list of English source strings that need to be changed due to spell checking and grammar rules. The list is going to be sent to the author of the original strings with a nice reminder to apply the request for change. |

We are now at 72 percent of the German strings (515 of 714), 196 still need to be translated. |

90 % of the German strings and 96 % of the French strings have been translated so far. |

100 % of the German strings for Taler Merchant Backend ("Backoffice") have been translated to my best knowledge and capabilities. It would be good, though, to also see the language switcher do its function, which is not the case on my browser (Firefox 133.0). I am currently working with the Taler Merchant version 0.12.12 (16:0:12). In the app's section "Interface", after switching from English to Spanish some strings are shown in Spanish, but French and German are not displayed. Please be so kind and find a solution as me and EB need the merchant app to be functional in DE and FR (ASAP respectively next week for usability tests). |

https://bugs.gnunet.org/view.php?id=9330 lists English source strings that need to be changed for better spelling and grammar rules and has been assigned to the author of the original strings - with BA as reviewer. |

Dear Sebastian, this one needs you to perform two tasks which might help a lot: (1) In Weblate, check the right path to the source code repository for https://weblate.taler.net/settings/gnu-taler/webextensions/#vcs which is now linked to wallet-core.git - this affects Taler Merchant Backend and Taler bank SPA as these two components share their Weblate strings repository with the Webextensions via weblate://gnu-taler/webextensions (see https://weblate.taler.net/settings/gnu-taler/merchant-backoffice/#vcs and https://weblate.taler.net/settings/gnu-taler/taler-bank-spa/). (2) After having rebased and pushed all commits on Weblate to git, please check the functionality of the language switcher in the Taler Merchant Backend app (as pointed out before here on this ticket) so that it displays German and French strings as well. Big thanks. |
