| Description | I understand that this is convenient in some cases and presumably never overrides data, but it can be very confusing when setting up a new configuration and some paths aren't correct. The merchant backend even used to create the key in the current working directory (!), but that's fixed now. | ||||

While I'm not opposed to keeping the behaviour of generating new keys, this should appear very clearly (at least as WARNING) in the logs. |

WARNING seems high. I think INFO might be OK. Note that this would have to be fixed in libgnunetutil. |
