the problem is that there is no "https" exchange bank account, so the script can't find one when trying to wire funds to its (non-existent) bank account. This leads to another problem since the "https" exchange URL has 31 chars, and this lenght is not liked by the 'User' model. That calls for a workaround until the wallet itself will communicate exchange's bank account number when withdrawing |

I'm not sure I get this. I thought we run all services under 'https' right now. Also, I don't know why we have any limit on the number of characters for any URL. That makes little sense. My best guess is that there is a 'hack' in which username=URL in the bank, and because the wallet sends usernames instead of account numbers something worked with http but not https (as username doesn't exist and would for https be too long). Then indeed the right fix is to quickly fix the wallet to properly send the JSON with the Wire transfer data (i.e. the exchange's account number, instead of / in addition to its name). |
