| Summary | 0004332: visiting http://localhost:8000/ results in invalid block request size | ||||
| Description | After staring taler-bank-wsgi and visiting http://localhost:8000/, I don't get a page. Instead, it prints an error message to the console: *** Starting uWSGI 2.0.12 (64bit) on [Mon Mar 21 00:35:54 2016] *** compiled with version: 5.3.1 20160205 on 15 March 2016 20:03:23 os: Linux-4.2.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.2.6-3 (2015-12-06) nodename: spec machine: x86_64 clock source: unix pcre jit disabled detected number of CPU cores: 8 current working directory: /home/grothoff/share/talerbank/src detected binary path: /home/grothoff/share/talerbank/venv/bin/uwsgi *** WARNING: you are running uWSGI without its master process manager *** your processes number limit is 96341 your memory page size is 4096 bytes detected max file descriptor number: 65536 lock engine: pthread robust mutexes thunder lock: disabled (you can enable it with --thunder-lock) uwsgi socket 0 bound to TCP address :8000 fd 3 Python version: 3.5.1+ (default, Jan 13 2016, 15:09:18) [GCC 5.3.1 20160101] *** Python threads support is disabled. that's kind-of expected because taler-bank-wsgi starts the service for the wsgi protocol, not http. In other words, taler-bank-wsgi is just useful when launching the bank to be accessed via nginx. What you need for local http work is taler-bank-manage --bareserver (but you don't get the SSI things this way) |

Ok, I guess that falls under "needs man pages" then ;-). |
