| Description | Despite what the help page says, taler-bank-manage wants to create a database 'grothoff' on my system: $ taler-bank-manage --definetables Creating tables... psql: FATAL: database "grothoff" does not exist Please create db (--create-db) before running this option Note that 'talertest' exists: postgres@spec:~$ createdb talertest createdb: database creation failed: ERROR: database "talertest" already exists Also, passing 'grothoff' or 'talertest' as OWNER to --createdb doesn't help. | ||||

All that --definetables does is to call the following two commands that don't create any db, but just define tables and other "internal" stuff. Could it be that you have some old "reference" to the 'grothoff' db? python manage.py makemigrations python manage.py migrate |

I found the issue, the postgres commands you invoked required that a per-user default DB existed. This has now been fixed. |
