| Summary | 0002946: Scale free topology should support capping the number of neighbours of a peer | ||||
| Description | Current scale free topology generation connects a large number of peers as neighbors to famous peers. However, peers entertain only a certain number of peers to be its neighbors due to the limits placed in TRANSPORT service. This setting restricts the generation of scale free topology and makes the network graph disconnected. To address this, scale free topology generation should allow an option to specify the maximum number of peers that can be connected to a peer. After this number is reached for a peer, no further peers are to be connected to it. Such setup will allow for the network graph to be connected. | ||||
