Maybe make it an option from the configuration instead, with a 'sane' default value? I'm not sure passing yet another argument everywhere is lots of fun, and most of the time even thinking about the timeout is useless. A 5 minute default should cover 99% of the use-cases, and the rest should be fine via configuration-override. |
