| Summary | 0011200: Design Document and then config option needed for a proper footer of the self-provisioning site | ||||
| Description | There should be static information in a footer at the very bottom of every serious self-provisioning site which can be set via config options; warnings should be produced, if basic information is not set. Suggestions (with specifics for CH): - Legally responsible entity should be clearly visible, with name, address, ZIP code and town - Optionally, also VAT no. should be possible to be defined; optionality makes sense for this concrete case, because not every self-provisioning operator has (or even needs) a VAT no.; see exemptions, e.g., for associations with less than CHF 100,000 in turnover: https://www.estv.admin.ch/de/mwst-steuerpflicht - Similarly, a UID no. might be defined (cf. https://www.uid.admin.ch/) with optionality, which relates to the VAT no. and is given as soon as an entry in a Swiss commerce register is done; relation to VAT no.: having a VAT no, implies having a UID no., but having a UID no. doesn't yet mean one must have a VAT no. (or, depending on turnover: not yet); it is even purely possible to have an UID no. by adding an association or another entity to a commerce register even without any turnover (cf. https://www.shab.ch/ for an overview of all commerce register, where you can fimd assocations or other small organizsations without any real commercial activity) - Generic contact URIs should be supported, to be displayed, like mailto: or tel: contact - Related to 0011199, support contact should be made visible, too; if someone interested or a customer seeks immediate help, independently of the site's location which is currently open | ||||
| Additional Information | This not only, but also contributes to make a self-provisioning site appear trustworthty / signal trust / look more serious (less scam-alike; this issue was also brought up by Eli at the last Taler Retreat). | ||||
