Summary0007677: consider having a recovery mode for the wallet
DescriptionOriginal suggestion by Sebastian in 0007609.

For me, the reason to have a recovery mode is that instead of the wallet saying "oops, I can't start" and the user not being able to do *anything*, we allow the user some very limited functionality (such as exporting the DB and error diagnostics). Or maybe first doing some export and then deleting offending records, etc.

This is already supported, and the Android wallet allows exporting the database file when the database doesn't load.

There is no need for a separate recovery mode.
