That's intentionally; GNUnet should be able to run without a configuration file, in which case 'all defaults' should be used. Now, the error message Feb 18 09:44:12-708861 util-1995 WARNING Error while determining the file size of /home/mwachs/gnunet/gnunet-debug/$DEFAULTCONFIG/ with this $DEFAULTCONFIG in it, that's what shouldn't happen. I don't get this, do you still get this if you run with an unmodified default installation, or is this something due to specifics in your setup? |

Cannot reproduce anymore, with log level INFO i just get Mar 04 17:34:05-744454 arm-12276 ERROR Could not access configuration file `/home/mwachs/.gnunet/gnunet.conf' Which according to your statement above should not be an error but an INFO ... But I cannot reproduce the original message I tested with missing ~/.gnunet/gnunet.conf and missing ~/.gnunet/ directory |
