| Additional Information | On Debian, `adduser gnunet` will also create a gnunet group, unless --system is used, and then the user will have nogroup as its primary group. For portability, it might be better to use: # addgroup --system gnunet # adduser --system --home /path/to/gnunet --gid XXX gnunet where XXX is the GID of the gnunet group. Maybe --shell might be useful too, if the gnunet user needs one. Also, the `adduser gnunet gunetdns` might be more portable using `usermod -a -G gnunetdns` | ||||

After `make install`, running `ldconfig` may be necessary to update the library cache, otherwise `sudo -u gnunet gnunet-arm -s` will fail. |
