| Summary | 0002655: Systemd unit for root, but GUI and setup for logged in user | ||||
| Description | The gnunet.service unit defaults to root as the user running gnunet-arm. gnunet-fs-gtk and gnunet-setup default to the user running the command. As a result even after configuring gnunet you can't use it, because gnunet-fs-gtk won't get a connection, because there's no gnunet-arm running for that user and gnunet-arm will start, but be unconfigured. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | - Install gnunet from AUR - configure to your needs through gnunet-setup, started through the .desktop file - start gnunet: # systemctl start gnunet.service - start gnunet-fs-gtk through .desktop file -> don't get a connection | ||||
| Additional Information | gnunet.service should use gnunet as user and group and at least gnunet-setup and gnunet-fs-gtk should be prepared to use and configure a connection handled by a different user. | ||||

Chais, you misunderstood me here --- I asked you to file the bug against ArchLinux, not against our bugtracker. We cannot fix ArchLinux bugs, and they likely don't monitor our bugtracker... |
