| Summary | 0010932: When KYC can be continued, notify merchants by email and SMS | ||||
| Description | In the merchants logs it's visible when the merchant receives the information that a merchant did the cent transfer to confirm the authenticity of the own IBAN acc. and thus the KYC process can be concluded. As UX is already problematic in this area, at least the merchant who's self-onboarding alone should get info when the process can be continued. In the UI it should also be stated that info by SMS and email goes out when this is ready. We don't need to send a link, and if so state we never send links around to make the merchants aware they don't need to click to anything which comes from our side. While info disclosure is not directly an issue for merchants if attackers learn username and password (bc of MFA by either email or SMS in case of login; both if it's about to change settings), this can lead to confusion and a bad user experience, nevertheless. | ||||
| Additional Information | For banking AND architectural reasons of how merchant and exchange communicate with each other, it can take up to 48hrs (by experience) that this info gets available: this feature would ensure that merchants don't need to (attempt to) refresh the site several times; they can just rely on our info, which sent via two channels should reliably be received. Features already ACKed to be good by @sebasjm. No assignments, prios etc. from my side, however. :) | ||||
