| Description | The goal of this ticket is to obtain a main menu list in Merchant Backoffice v1.3 which enables merchant users to intuitively navigate through the application. For example, menu items which just _display_ data should be separated from those menu items which are prompting the users for filling in necessary data for settings and configuration (t.i. where the user has to fill in a bank account number, create inventory for new products, or update information to keep the settlement working). Secondly, all related data needs to be at a place where a normal user would expect it to be. For example, the version numbers (both backend and backoffice versions) and the connection data (instance name, URL of the frontend) should be presented under a menu "About" (like the plurality of applications in the wild). This related information will be helpful when users or software testers (especially those without access to the server) create bug reports and just need to copy the data from that menu into the bug ticket, thus facilitating the work of developers. | ||||
| Additional Information | Another example is the menu item "Categories". There, information displayed is just an indication, not a configuration. The relationship between products and categories is established in the menu "Inventory", so this data could be better displayed in a sorted list of products in "Inventory" where merchants can add categories to the list of products. Consequently, the menu item "Categories" can be deleted from the menu item list to make it cleaner and shorter. | ||||
