| Description | Depending on the IP(v4) range used or other (intransparent) criteria, some email servers might not accept emails from my.taler-ops.ch; this must be tested, as merchants using our service need this to (1) sign up and (2) login to their instance, as a means of MFA. | ||||

Tested to work for larger providers as icloud.com, outlook.com and then half a dozen of smaller email accounts privately run or where a hosting provider is behind (including ccc-ch.ch, kosta.ch, taler-systems.com, vecirex.net, hacktivism.ch etc.); it can land in trash folder, however. For gmail.com it helps to set IPv4 delivery and an SPF record (florian asked to add so); like this, can be closed. Add other tickets in live operation should particular issues arise. The email helper file is also prepared to just add another email server: this can be, e.g., firefly as also suggested by CG. |
