| Description | A merchant operating an instance must be able to get the money of his orders, which were paid: let's test this to work properly; in this ticket's scope as a test case for TOPS/CHF, this would be to see a successful settlement to a verified (after successful KYC) IBAN account of a given instance a merchant operates, such as to see if this works in principle. If this works in several cases, with also some other bank's IBAN accounts, we can consider this to work in principle and be confident things are fine.
Personally, I never saw any settlement of orders paid to happen, but I also didn't check the involved IBAN accounts from two different banks used in testing yet. Marc from p15.space, operating a taler-merchant instance himself, reported similarly: he saw it once working further back in time, but didn't check his accounts for the present situation. What concerns the transaction history, that was not understandable enough, maybe even incorrect (in display): see #10385. He also didn't try to change delays. We also need to test changing delays to see if this has any (substantial) effect, taking into account that the involved banks might have their own delays; the TOPS/CHF exchange is using PostFinance/PF, some of the IBAN accounts involved are themselves PF accounts, so that delays defined should match expecations of how long it takes for the money to appear on a merchant's IBAN account. |
