| Summary | 0010624: For exchanges w/ KYC: taler-merchant-kyccheck must run (explicit context to mention: TOPS/CHF) | ||||
| Description | Here, https://docs.taler.net/taler-merchant-manual.html#launching-the-backend, a note similarly to the donau case needs to be added which emphasizes that the component taler-merchant-kyccheck must be running, otherwise not even a KYC option will be shown in the backoffice, allowing to add IBANs which show up as "no kyc required", subsequently not being able to create orders. The command to be added is taler-merchant-kyccheck & | ||||
| Additional Information | This lack of documentation is then a problem, if you run the commands manually as described in the docu of the section linked above. This can be for reasons to go step by step and see what happens, this can also be the case if you don't happen (and or want) to use systemd and don't have mechanisms in place to ensure all components are running, or are not aware that also this one should be running. It's also not necessary to have a KYC-enforcing exchange in all cases configured, which is why the particular case of the TOPS exchange with CHF currency should be mentioned explicitly. | ||||
