Please explain what you mean by "not ready". But let me explain a few things first: 1) Demo is (soon?) being updated as part of the v1.1 release process, so you may not yet see the latest code there. 2) Testing and debugging are never exactly "complete". Please see in particular https://bugs.gnunet.org/roadmap_page.php?version_id=449 for a list of known issues that we have deliberately deferred as late as v1.5 (!). 3) The general process is to file specific issues (0009772 is a good example) which will then be prioritized and assigned a target release. So if you have something specific that you believe needs to be addressed urgently, you should report the specific issue and Florian or I may decide that the specific issue is worth delaying the release for, or not. We're still doing last-minute release checks, so if you have something specific and small it could theoretically still be fixed, but don't count on it. OTOH, it should not be a disaster: v1.2 and v1.3 should both follow still this year. And v1.1 is clearly a major improvement over v1.0, so it is better to release that soon with some small issues remaining than to wait forever for perfection. My 2 cents. |
