Summary | 0005692: texinfo documentation, build system: fails due to inability to build arch.pdf
Description | Here are 2 variations of errors, both related to the way texinfo is used. A fix for all would be to rewrite it in a way which works cross-platform like I attempt for gnunet. I have no point of reference for the problem in merchant/doc, so it might take longer. attached are build logs for both problems. Problem 1: NetBSD make (almost equal to 'bmake') trips on something (probably GNUmake'ism) and doesn't know how to make arch.pdf Problem 2: is probably a more fine-grained articulation of problem 1, assuming that this is the real cause for Problem 1 to occur in the first place. NetBSD's texi2dvi doesn't support more than one argument for --output. As a brief reminder, we're on Texinfo 4.8, texi2dvi 1.34, here (for whatever reason).
