Summary | 0003572: CADET bundle messages up to MAX size
Description | Add a channel option for low latency/high priority to avoid bundling, expressely accepting the higher overhead.
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||
|
Bundling done, CADET still needs a channel option. |
|
The new API has a bit of that now, but the signalling is not implemented fully so the service doesn't really get to use the information (and we have no test for it). Also, unlike the Bart pre-MQ design, we found that the option should not be per channel but per MQ message, as managing multiple channels just to be able to tell high/low latency messages (or in/out-of-order) is awful. So instead, MQ API has provision for each envelope to signal desired semantics. |
