| Summary | 0002719: need traffic statistics for all traffic types (what block types for DHT, what message types for mesh, core) | ||||
| Description | Right now, we can see that a certain percentage of our bandwidth is used by say DHT or mesh, but we cannot easily tell which high-level applications are responsible for which fraction of bandwidth consumption, making it difficult to know where to look for optimizations. | ||||
| Additional Information | We should snprintf the message type/block type into a statistics string (core does that in some places already) and log bandwidth spend for the various types of encapsulated messages/data as they are received/transmitted. | ||||
