| Summary | 0011818: Users are confused about term "withdraw" | ||||
| Description | This year at Datenspuren, we had particularly many users telling us that they were confused about our usage of the terms withdraw and deposit. They were expecting the terms to be the other way around, "deposit sth into the wallet" (as into an account). This has already been discussed a lot of times and we should probably not switch away from our terms, since they are more accurate for the self-custody aspect of Taler. But maybe we could teach users better what they mean. Two ideas: 1. improve the icons, from a single arrow point up or down (or left or right for sending/receiving) to sth more telling. maybe an arrow pointing towards a wallet, or outside a wallet. Hoping for UI/UX experts here. 2. have a little guide through the wallet functions when the user first opens the wallet / when a function becomes available for the first time. Other apps do this and I personally like it. Obviously this should be consistent across platforms. | ||||
