Description# Pre-deployment Sign-off

Scope:
- Full stage verification of combined stack already matching trixie-testing tip
- Backend: taler-merchant 1.6.24 (build_version 1.6.24, protocol 42:0:30)
- WebUI: taler-merchant-webui 1.6.46
- One merchant basis (backend); no separate merchants per subcomponent
- Payments for this ticket: CHF:0 only (talersticker / stickers template)
- Create dedicated instance named with backend version + smoke template

- Backend: operator-owned DB migrations posture; DD102 restart/exit; no order serial reuse after migration; pickup duration on template orders; KYC wake on status request; MFA/password/token behaviors from 1.6.23
- WebUI: login token lifetime config; template OTP device; locked-product deletion guidance; machine access tokens after MFA; plus 1.6.43 set (phone MFA, reauth, account deletion, live exchange status, i18n, product prices)
  expect: each checked item ok or explicitly N/A with reason

Closing:

Merchant + webui on stage look fine. Zero-amount pays and the small ladder (0.01 / 0.10 / 1) all paid. Higher withdrawals also covered.
A few soft endpoints checked; logged-in webui smoke still open.
Full e2e speed tests: wip.

Stage 23-rung ladder (so-backend-1-6-24 / ladder, wallet-cli 1.6.48, fresh DB) paid rungs 1-15 (CHF:0.01..183.22). Stop at rung 16 CHF:369.39: wire arrived, wallet stayed pending/kyc (incoming-kyc).

Fresh-wallet probes (one new DB + new wallet-cli serve per amount): confirm ok at CHF:200.00, KYC from CHF:200.01. Soft stage KYC gate at CHF:200 per incoming withdraw; public hard limits (2500/mo, 1000/day) do not explain it. Rung 15 was under that gate; rung 16 over.

taler-merchant v1.6.24 + wallet-cli v1.6.48; sockfix with unique SHOTDIR/LOCK_KEY per slot.

Sequential amount ladder (<=CHF:200): 18/18 paid; qr_to_paid avg 1.65s (med 1.44; one max 5.92s at CHF:0.04, server-side exception).

Scale-until-fail N=1..32 with amounts CHF:0..200: 143/143 paid, first_fail none; qr_to_paid avg 4.65s (med 4.01, max 29.88s).

Parallel tests at fixed CHF:0 for N=2..100: 226/226 paid; qr_to_paid avg 2.75s (med 2.37, max 7.04s).

Parallel tests with random amounts <=CHF:20 for N=2..64: 126/126 paid; qr_to_paid avg 3.40s (med 3.42, max 5.34s).
