Summary0010923: KYC check required but when opening the check it states all is done
DescriptionI have a incoming transaction where there is a message "KYC check required for the transaction to complete. Follow this link to the KYC status page." When I follow the link, the page states "Mandatory identification requirements are satisfied".
I did previously complete the identification by phone number. An other transaction I could receive in this wallet.
The transaction was however accepted meanwhile by an other wallet. So it is legit that the transaction does not complete. But the message is wrong.

The message will be shown while the transaction have `kycUrl` and until wallet-core remove the `kycUrl` from that tx. I think this means wallet-core never removes the kycUrl from the tx?

I don't understand that sentence. It would be nice if you provide more information like what type of tx? deposit / withdrawal / p2p transfer / p2p invoice
did the transaction completed while the kyc alert was shown?

It was a transaction from a Android wallet to the WebExtension. I entered the URL in the WebExtension, found out that I need to do the KYC check but entered probably a wrong phone number - I did not receive the SMS. So I did scan the QR-Code on the Android wallet with a second Android wallet where the KYC check was already done. The transaction was successful. In the WebExtension, after a day or so, I completed the KYC check, but the transaction could obviously not be completed any more. I now have this transaction with the wired status shown in the WebExtension.

Ok, sounds like a case we should reproduce and then improve the behavior, like the wallet should be able to detect that the transfer was completed by another wallet and show the transaction as no-longer-possible. Probably needs some thinking about what message to show here.

Assigning to vlada, mostly for her to suggest what *should* happen. After that, wallet-core and/or UIs should implement it.
