| Summary | 0010895: Merchant: Entering a TAN code for verfication should accept the enter key to send the code - and not by a click of the mouse | ||||
| Description | In the Merchant Backoffice SPA, applying for changing an email address or a password in the settings of Taler Merchant Backend (we tested v1.3.0) requires a user to enter the TAN code for verification. Given the current state, a user has to click or tap on the button "Enter" by the click of a mouse or a finger - and NOT just push the enter key on the keyboard as this will lead to an error message (see screenshot). We played through this situation in the Quality Checkpoint meeting on Jan 14 again after testing twice on different instances. This is clearly a bug that needs to be fixed rather sooner than later as people tend to enter numerical data on the numpad and press enter on the same, get an error message and leave the app in a frustrated state of mind (and maybe the payment system, too). | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Visit the password page or try to change an email address. Fill in the required data into the fields, press the enter key of your keyboard. Enjoy. Thanks for caring. | ||||
| Additional Information | See the attached screenshot we captured after we entered the correct TAN code but pushed the keyboard "Enter" key instead of clicking the button in the SPA. | ||||
