This happens due to many factors:

1) the phone's locale (e.g. "10 €" vs. "€10")
2) the currency symbol (e.g. "€") being equal to the currency string (e.g. "EUR").

In this case, "SPURLOS" is the currency *symbol* that according to some locales must go next to the amount without a space.

I decided to take a simple approach and let the OS handle the amount formatting by itself.

Solution: choose a proper currency symbol or unset it from the exchange configuration.

As for the exchange URL, it now marquees when it is too long :)
