Summary0010809: Bank SPA and WebEx wallet: String harmonisation
DescriptionThis ticket is concerning both Bank SPA and the Web extension wallet on demo and test with the goal of string harmonisation between both.

In order to withdraw KUDOS or TESTKUDOS to any wallet from a Taler fake bank's account, a user will be exposed to the wallet's dialog for withdrawal initiation (see screenshot). Users are then often confused to see different expressions like "recipient" and "receiver name" and "bank account", this makes them a hardship to fill the text fields in the Bank SPA (see the other screenshot).

It is known that under "recipient" we understand a plurality of name conventions like IBAN, bitcoin addresses, recipient names or account IDs and do forth.

Paying respect to this practice and also trying to facilitate the Taler demo for the average user to get an impression how Taler's MVP works, it is suggested to change the existing terms as follows:

[in the Bank SPA:]
- Recipient --> Recipient / Bank account
- username --> your bank account number, e.g. DE12 0000 1111 2222 3333 00
- ID of the recipient's account --> IBAN or ID of the recipient's account
- Transfer subject --> Subject

[in the WebEx wallet:]
- Bank transfer details --> Instructions for your wire transfer:
- Bank account --> Recipient / Bank account
- Alternative if your bank already supports PayTo URI, you can use this %1$s link instead --> As an alternative, in case that your bank already supports the 'PayTo URI' standard, you can use this %1$s link instead

and
- delete 'bank host' or hide this term resp. show it only for expert users
- the text right at "Subject" must be bold and set in a bigger font to make it readable
- 'Receiver name' might still stand there as it reflects the legal requirement to fill in the recipient's name for a wire transfer in the EU since December 2025
Steps To ReproduceTry a withdrawal from the Taler Bank SPA to the wallets, especially the WebEx wallet.
Try this with a Taler-naive person, if you do not get at a first glance what the issue is here.
