| Description | Version is iOS wallet v1.2 (fresh install after release via the app store on Nov 20) 1. Testing: Tests for withdrawals from either a WebEx wallet and a x-taler bank account as well as deposits were performed: withdrawal, deposit, send/buy, QR code scans... 2. Issues: - Bug #1: On the app store ( https://apps.apple.com/us/app/taler-wallet/id6463440117# at the link "License Agreement" at the bottom) ToS of 2022, Nov 5, are rendered (in English) --> We must update the ToS, but existent are only the RST files in /exchange/contrib/ for the Swiss Sandbox implementation with the TOPS Terms of service (exchange-tos-tops-v0.en.rst, exchange-tos-tops-v0.de.rst, exchange-tos-tops-v0.fr.rst). Issue #2: The "Privacy Policy" link points to the principles web page of taler.net, but an accurate PP file should be retrieved instead --> from the existing RST files exchange-pp-v0.en.rst, exchange-pp-v0.de.rst, exchange-pp-v0.fr.rst an adapted version must appear in /exchange/contrib/ 3. Related: All transactions went well except for the deposit to the x-taler bank account which threw an internal system error with the message "wallet_deposit_group_insufficient_balances". --> I will have to test this again with other wallets to reproduce the issue before I am going to file another ticket for this bug. | ||||

Eh, the license agreement seems fine. This is the license agreement we wrote for iOS. Has NOTHING to do with the Terms of service of any exchange! Again, the privacy policy is also the one for the iOS wallet, and it has nothing to do with the exchange ToS. So IMO those are NOT bugs. We can argue that we may want to write a proper PP for the iOS wallet (aka: we collect no data whatsoever, done). For #3, as said before, please file separate bugs for separate issues!!! |

I can explicitely set the "Privacy Policy URL". Currently, it is set to https://taler.net/en/principles.html If you want to change that, just set up a webpage and send me the link... |

We could eventually create one with an explicit policy about the wallets, like "we don't collect data about you, we don't collect telemetry data, you may send us stuff in TestFlight but then you need to do so explicitly, blah blah blah", but I don't think this is urgent. But yes, *eventually* having a more explicit policy page for the wallets (I'd combine them: all wallets will do the same data collection: none), would make sense. |

I consent with an explicit PP for all the wallet versions and my suggestion is to use the existing PP files but to replace TOPS-related stuff with wallet-geared information. This cannot be too hard or time consuming and is not urgent, I agree. Before the productive (non-dev) wallet version will be deployed, we should have a properly composed Privacy Policy, though. In the summary of this ticket, I wrote that I will have to test the related issue #3 again with other wallets to reproduce the issue before I am going to file another ticket for this bug. Some of my newly assigned Mantis tickets definitely collect a plurality of bugs first and then distrubute them to separate bug tickets. HM and me also introduced meta-tickets which collect related bug tickets which proves to be logical for deployment. |
