| Description | To run a taler-merchant (with or without self-provisioning) with the TOPS/CHF exchange and only with that exchange, it's helpful to know that the taler-merchant already comes with most settings for it to just run. However, some tweaks a/o workarounds are needed to achieve this goal. Document all steps and example files needed here, then make canonical. | ||||

Eh, the default configuration shipped by the merchant should already enable both kudos + TOPS exchanges. So if you apt-install taler-merchant, there should be NOTHING required. That's required by all reasonable packages, so the documentation should be exactly what it is now: nothing required, works out of the box. Everything else is bad packaging. |

Set new deadline by dependence of 0010630. Of what you say, Christian (didn't see this before, sorry): basically it works out of the box, but this should be said in the docu explicitly, as people might try to configure TOPS/CHF manually (as I tried first... xD), which is not needed as respective includes for that exist and errors stating it's already there emerge otherwise; other than that: some switches need to be activated for default currency KUDOS and default exchange for that currency to be deactivated, to make things specific (only CHF currenty / only TOPS exchange); also email / SMS tan config can need explanation and examples. Docu will be altered before putting my.taler-ops.ch live: attaching this to ticket 0010630, such as to have this done by then. |
