| Description | If you take a look at the main menu list at the left-hand side of the SPA, you might want to reduce complexity, especially for merchants who are not tech-savvy as probably sysadmins or developers are. This can be done by limiting the menu list for different merchant user groups in normal mode, whereas the whole list is displayed in "expert mode". We need three UX profiles in the beginning: - farm shops should see a diminished list of main menu items in their profile (t.i. without "Inventory", "Categories", Token families", OTP Devices", "Webhooks") - "power users" must see the necessary menu items merchant-wise for normal businesses (maybe except for "OTP Devices" and "Webhooks" unless they are not selling digital goods) - "expert mode" users must see all items in the main menu (t.i. developers, sys-admins) | ||||
| Additional Information | If some subtasks are only solved with target version 1.2, this would not be an obstacle, but it would delay the introduction of farm shops as the first target group of the Taler Merchant backend. | ||||
