Summary0010320: monitoring fails to detect if libeufin cannot talk to the bank
DescriptionOur monitoring failed us. We need to think about how to improve this. Possibilities:

  (a) Libeufin-nexus writes to a metrics folder when the last successful ingest attempt happened. We expose this via nginx.
  (b) Libeufin-nexus provides a metrics HTTP service that serves up the same data (by directly querying the DB).

I think we should do (b) because we'll need a REST service for libeufin-nexus soon anyway when we add the reserve public key registration for NZ support / CH-UX improvements.
