| Summary | 0010283: Check / amend QA test cases w/ Stefan [1h] | ||||
| Description | General / reminder ticket: to be closed in favor of more concrete tickets (esp. a labor division QA front- and backend needed). Before going to customers, we must be confident there are neither major nor nasty cosmetic bugs, be that both in the front- as well as the backend area. | ||||

Regarding the wallet test surveys for the Swiss Sandbox payment system c/o TOPS: We want a test suite for the wallet apps in order to realise the entire payment cycle from withdrawal to deposit to our fake merchant. Users should fill in the survey we provide on the web. 1. A first survey template has been implemented by SK on Sandstorm (https://sandstorm.taler.net/shared/huHHQeYCCJq-Z0G-I3T4nU_7WSSXMgM7Xm0Xudf9dOQ) which was presented to HM and CM in the marketing team's weekly Jour fix. HM run the first testing round and filled in the survey thus delivered a fruitful result and proving that the survey works from a technical point of view. Lessons learned: - Visually, the survey has to be streamlined a lot and should adopt contemporary UX expectations - Content-wise, the survey must offer condensed introduction and short questions and should invite users to conduct a quick and joyful survey; CM generated an AI-borne survey template based on the intro and questions of the first testing round which were implemented - Technically, the forms have to accept image uploads at least for the survey itself which is not feasible with Sandstorm - Additionally, Sandstorm was down for a while due to hosting problems at TUE 2. A second survey was implemented by SK with Framaforms, a web-based survey tool known in the FLOSS-community. A preliminary result is on the web and needs to be test-driven and optimised. This one will be subject in the next Jour fix |
