| Description | Systemd does not support restarting a service with exponential back-off. It also tends to deactivate services that restart too often. Maybe it makes sense to have some helper that wraps around a process and: 1. re-starts it with exponential back-off on crashes 2. propagates the error to systemd when stopped with a non-crash exit code | ||||

| I tend to disagree. If a sysadmin uses systemd to launch Taler, they should be familiar enough with it to look at the systemd logs / reporting and manually restart the service once the issue is fixed. I do not see a need to insist on the ARM-style exponential back-off. | |
