| Description | Changes sometimes require new configuration defaults or values. Currently, every time this happens, the sysadmin must manually regenerate the configuration. Should Buildbot instead kill and regenerate the config file every time it recompiles Taler? | ||||

| Yeah, I guess so. It's best to have a deterministic process instead of having to worry about some ancient test-run having left files behind. | |
| The generator has to care about everything: config file + any required blob (fees/keys/..) + any JSON (like wiredetails). | |
| The database should be reset too upon each recompilation. Note that sometimes is better to leave tables around so as to better diagnose problems... | |
| No DB reset should happen, so as to better keep trace of DB migrations! | |
| The script "keys.sh" -- invoked by Buildbot's "test-builder" -- calls "taler-deployment-prepare". This latter does regenerate the main configuration file: ~/.config/taler.conf. It'd be better to change the name from keys.sh to prepare.sh, however. | |
