| Summary | 0011913: Locust: regression vs Mantis - classic handler cleared on updates (REST and HTML) | ||||
| Description | Situation: On Locust compliance projects, an ordinary update (effort, status, small field touch) can clear the classic handler (Assigned To). MantisBT kept it. Same over REST and HTML form. Real regression: incidental updates must keep the classic handler when the compliance role is empty. Product model (Expected; see also #11909 Closed): - Actual hours come from confirmed clock/timesheet. Without confirmed time, Actual stays 0. PATCH effort_actual may return HTTP 200 and leave Actual at 0. Clock start/stop/confirm raises Actual. - On Taler-Business (compliance), the handler follows ticket state/roles. REST assign can return HTTP 200 STATUS=partial and leave handler unset. Local testing: Podman container :8080. Locust effort/estimates are examples only (Mantis had no effort). Five setups x REST + HTML = 10 cases. Before the patch all 10 failed (handler cleared or assign no-op). After the patch all 10 passed. Cases (each REST and HTML): 1. Confirmed + handler set, empty Implementer: set effort -> handler must stay. 2. Confirmed + handler set, empty Implementer: small field touch -> handler must stay. 3. Assigned + handler set, empty Implementer: set effort -> handler must stay. 4. Assigned + handler set, empty Implementer: small field touch -> handler must stay. 5.
