| Description | For peer-to-peer payments: Not really noticeable until CHF 10, as of CHF 15 (non systematic tests in between), it took like half a minute or longer on a Sasmung S24 Ultra; I stopped for CHF 20, as it was taking longer than a minute and is thus not feasible. It makes to me the impression, time this takes grows in function of the amount, but way over proportiion. The same doesn't happen in this (CHF) amount area for an iPhone; an old iPhone XR was used to do a vice-versa transfer, which was quite fast. Without further systematic testing or debugging, I assume this not to be a wallet core issue. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Use newest Android app from, e.g., the Google Play store (v1.3.0 (google 72)) and try to send an amount somewhat higher than CHF 10, by using the "send" button to generate a QR code to be scanned by another device. | ||||
| Additional Information | @Bohdan already told me that this might happen: I can confirm it hereby for Android. Addition: This also happens for paying orders, there even clearly noticeable with lower amounts; title changed accordingly. We experienced this in at least two cases today: 1. Doing a CHF 7 payment in TOPS/CHF test infra, see also comment below. 2. In a real-world scenario at a store in Biel/Bienne in TOPS/CHF prod infra with an even higher amount of CHF 30, there it taking several minutes. | ||||

| AFAIK this can *only* be a wallet-core issue. | |
| Wow, interesting... I could do a CHF 15 transfer iOS->Android fast, but it can of course be it's the way wallet-core is used by Android... | |
| Since I am already mentioned, what about paying for orders, @vecirex , can you check how is the situation for orders above 20CHF? Do you see the same problem or not? | |

| Unfortunately, issue can be confirmed to also happen for Android paying an order: I could observe a CHF 7 payment on TOPS/CHF infra taking around 1.5 minutes in total, so even longer than in p2p cases. A subsequent CHF 0.01 order was paid immediately. | |
| As for this ticket, which is maybe solved by 0010939: I will retest for p2p and paying an order at an actual TOPS/CHF instance as soon as a new Android version gets released. | |
| Performance issues bettered in dev versions; acc. to today's QC meeting, new release immanent. Attempt the public version so-then. | |
| There is of course more to be done here, but Max is on that with slightly less urgency (so not for 1.5). => new bug to be opened if the more recent release(s) still show issues. | |
