| Summary | 0011966: Withdrawal: two "Withdrawal" labels overlap by 50% on the settled screen | ||||
| Description | On the Withdrawal screen two `staticText` elements both reading "Withdrawal" occupy overlapping frames: staticText "Withdrawal" [16.0, 85.7, 185.0, 36.7] staticText "Withdrawal" [142.3, 88.3, 117.0, 23.3] They intersect by 1369 pt^2, which is 50% of the smaller of the two. iPhone 17 (402x874 pt), iOS 27.2, GNU_Taler debug build. **I cannot tell you which of two causes this is, and I would rather say so than guess.** The shapes are consistent with either: * a genuine duplicate -- a navigation title and an inline heading rendered at the same time, which would be visible to the user as overlapping text; or * the large-title collapse caught at a moment when both the large and the inline title exist, which is ordinary UIKit behaviour and not a defect. What argues for looking: the harness samples the accessibility tree only after it has stopped changing (two consecutive identical structure hashes with no activity indicator), so this is not obviously a mid-animation sample. What argues against: that heuristic cannot distinguish "settled" from "paused during a scroll-driven title transition", and the two frames differ in height (36.7 vs 23.3 pt) in exactly the way a large and a small title would. A glance at the Withdrawal screen's title handling would settle it in less time than it took to measure. If it is the title transition, this issue can be closed and the harness should learn to exclude it -- which is also a useful outcome, because the analyzer will otherwise keep reporting it. One observation only, in one locale (English), from one campaign. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Install the GNU_Taler debug build on an iOS 27.2 simulator. 2. Fund the wallet and open a withdrawal so the Withdrawal screen appears. 3. Inspect the accessibility tree, or scroll the screen slightly and look at the title area. Observed: two "Withdrawal" labels with overlapping frames. Expected: one title. | ||||
| Additional Information | Found by the fuzzing harness's layout analyzer during campaign c2h-2c. The analyzer excludes pairs where one element contains the other, and pairs in different branches of the tree (so a sheet over a view does not count), so this is a same-branch intersection of two sibling labels. Reported here with its uncertainty intact because the alternative was to leave a measured overlap unreported; if it is the title transition, saying so on this issue lets the harness suppress it rather than rediscovering it every campaign. | ||||
