| Description | macOS/Homebrew: ./configure + make with default crypto-nettle dies in nettle-sys bindgen. Symptom: bindgen-wrapper.h:40:10: fatal error: 'nettle/pgp.h' file not found nettle-sys 2.3.2 build.rs unwrap panic Facts: - brew nettle 4.0 linked; no include/nettle/pgp.h - Debian nettle-dev still has it; nettle@3 keg-only on brew - ./configure --with-crypto-backend=crypto-openssl avoids this path Wanted (pick one path, keep Linux default): 1) document macOS/Homebrew: use crypto-openssl or nettle@3 + PKG_CONFIG_PATH 2) and/or gate/fallback when pgp.h absent 3) optional: CI/note that crypto-nettle SoT stays Debian Repro: pepsi master @ 7f4686a7, rustc 1.99, arm64 Darwin, brew nettle 4.0 | ||||
