| Description | Fresh app install, I initiate withdraw in bank, scan QR code with iOS wallet. iOS asks me if I want to allow Taler wallet app to use Wlan/GSM or just Wlan or no Internet. I select 'wlan/gsm'. Next I get an internal error with an empty error message. I presume it tried to use the Internet, got blocked by the OS, and after OS approved didn't retry and instead just fails. Trying again succeeds, as now the wallet has the permission. Note: if I had selected 'no', I'd expect a NICE error message ;-). | ||||

It is possible to restrict WiFi or Cellular data for all the apps on your iPhone, but only for iPhones sold in China. Chinese iPhones have an extra option called "Apps using WLAN & Cellular" in Settings > Wi-Fi. In that section you can control apps from accessing data on Wi-FI or Cellular. If you don't want that app to access data, there is "Off" option and the app can't access data on cellular or Wi-Fi. This does not apply to iPhones sold in the rest of the world. |

Since this only happens on chinese phones, I cannot test this behaviour. Suggestion: Postpone this problem until August when we can debug this in Petit Vivy. See: https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/278051/ios-wi-fi-is-turned-off-for-some-application-and-cannot-turn-on |
