Summary0005192: cURL introduced brotli support
DescriptionIn cURL 7.57.0 brotli support was added.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brotli

For now I'm doing nothing on brotli, it will be optional to build into gnURL 7.57.0.

I'm leaning towards making this freedom to choose it or not permanent. As far as I know you never wrote "Let's only support zlib!" in the original goals of gnURL. We don't need brotli in GNUnet itself, but beyond that leaving the choice up to the hypothetical other users of gnURL would be okay.

Is this correct, or what's your take on brotli?

Agreed, don't see a problem with Brotli support in gnurl in principle, and this option should not really affect the application (like GnuTLS vs. OpenSSL does), so leaving it unspecified (and up to the user/builder) should be fine.

Okay, thanks for your feedback. I'll release gnURL 7.57.0 before sunday this week.
