Summary 0005761: stamp files gets erased
Revision 2019-06-10 18:16 by Marcello Stanisci
Description If some Taler compilation is to update the deployment repository, then that update will erase all the other stamp files that belong to the same compilation but accounting for other repositories. Result: the next time that compilation will fire up, *all* the repositories will be built again!

This is currently happening for "deployment.git/taler-docbuild/", whenever "./update_onboarding.sh" executes.

A viable solution would be to have a "stamps" directory under $HOME that symlinks to the Makefile inside taler-docbuild/, and of course keep *there* all the stamp files. This directory should be created and set up by the "bootstrap" script, exactly as it happens for the "sockets" directory.
